The Western Washington Fair, known as the Puyallup Fair, used an older UNIX, character-based system for more than 15 years to manage its financials and payroll. Specific project objectives for the Microsoft Dynamics GP implementation include transitioning the organization from its current unsupported, legacy, green-screen system to the Microsoft platform in order to improve their reporting capabilities and increase their operational efficiencies. One key part of the project will be in providing the Association with the ability to efficiently process payroll for its more than 1,600 seasonal fair workers. After the initial implementation they will implement Microsoft Dynamics Forecaster™, a fully integrated budgeting and planning solution.
