Two years ago, designer of Mizuno introduces it's all new JPX line for. The new JPX E-Metal Fairway wood is an advanced design featuring a high strength ES230 Stainless Steel face matched with a solid SUS630 body and super lightweight Titanium Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al crown. This allows center of gravity to be pushed low and deep in the head producing a high launch FW that easy to hit of the fairway or toe. This fairway wood with its large sweet area is made for performance and distance. The E-Metal is matched with a mid kicking JPX Quad shaft with weight depending on flex. They are the R (48g), SR (Stiff/Regular 58g) S (68g) with 4 different lofts.
As a matter of fact, I do not get a very thorough understanding to the totally strange Golf Clubs Sale for me, although the JPX Fairway Wood is Mizuno's high tech fairway wood in 2009. Featuring Mizuno's UDS technology (Ultimate Dynamic Stability), it has super large sweet spot and low center of gravity produce trajectory optimized for maximum distance. The UDS technology enhances stability and maximizes the energy transferred on impact by minimizing the side to side and up and down vibrations.
As for the special trait, it should be the technology, Mizuno JPX E-Metal Fairway Wood realizes the lower centre of gravity by adopting ß titanium alloy in the head; the club face adopts high-elastic ES230 stainless steel material. The same with driver, the greater MOI in longitudinal direction and the broader sweet area promotes the straightness of hitting as well as the further flying distance.
Despite the ß titanium alloy in the head, some golfers find the Golf Equipment Sale to be more difficult to draw than the old 3-wood. The club is generally very easy to hit even for some golfers, if they are being a 20 handicap, it may be a bit small, often punishing them on those less than perfect swings. And it is said the club's paint was really the only downside. It began to come off quickly on the toe after only 2 months after purchase. The face of the club seemed to hold up for about 5 months, but now after 16 rounds it has some nicks and scratches. Despite of that, I hope I have a chance to own it and have a test.
