The Satisfying Callaway RAZR Tour X irons

As these Irons are labeled "Tour", I figured balance and feel would be a great place to start. These clubs feel rather nice actually, and face location at impact is easily judged. The breakthrough is on the order of the undercut cavities employed by the likes of TaylorMade and Callaway.

The new Tuned Feel System is a co-molded medallion of soft elastomer and aluminum plate. This insert has been specifically designed to improve the sound and feel of each new iron. For Titleist 2010 AP2 Irons, a softer, more solid feel is achieved. Other subtle refinements to the new AP2 have created performance gains in feel, sound, and turf interaction.

As for the looks, Titleist has done a nice job integrating technology and traditional looks here. Both on the top line and sole, the AP2 is slightly bulkier than other “players” irons but they’re still clean enough to appeal to most. The cavity color is toned down a bit more than the AP1 Golf Irons Sale and, like the AP1, these look much better in person. It's nice to see a Titleist iron that isn't so plain.

In my opinion there was a big gap between the MX-1000's and the MP lines of clubs and the JPX-800's a full-fledged jump into that space, providing 8 to 24 handicappers with a truly remarkable option; a club with the feel Mizuno is known for combined with the game improvement qualities desired by many of us like forgiveness and increased distance. I don't want to ruin the rest of my review- but mission (mostly) accomplished!

Like the MP-53, the JPX-800 features Mizuno’s Triple Cut Sole (most visible in the leading edge grind), which helps to ensure consistent performance from a variety of lies.  Though Mizuno bills the JPX-800 Pro as having a thinner top line (in comparison to the standard JPX), several of our testers, and in particular the lower handicap golfers, told us that the top line was a bit too thick for their tastes.

Nothing matters if they don't work, right?! She loved these irons. She really thinks Mizuno is on to something special with these Discount Golf Gifts. She loves the feel of Mizuno irons- so much so that despite being custom fit by Nike I'm still tempted constantly to go back and play my set of Mizuno MP-57's.
