As is well known, we will not get very far in a car without knowing how to use its controls. And it's exactly the same for golf. As we are a golfer, are our skills for playing the game right? We may not give a confirmative answer.

As we are a golfer, are our skills for playing the game right? We may not give a confirmative answer. It’s really no more complicated than feeling comfortable and balanced over the ball.
Certainly, we know that there are six points in playing the game. They are aim, the grip, the ball, stance, body, posture. And each point plays an important role in the game. The following skills are my careless harvest which includes the aim, the grip, and the ball. I would like to share with you.
The first place to start is making sure our aim correctly. As a general rule, we should keep club face square to the target. The exception to this is when we are deliberately trying to hook or slice the ball. It should be square to our body - wherever we are in our backswing. The second place is to stand still with our arms hanging by our side. First fit a club into our left hand so its sits comfortably. The Strong Wind Did Not Battle Vaughn Groenewald

Vaughn Groenewald battled a strong wind to claim a one-stroke lead in the first round of the Vodacom Origins of Golf KwaZulu-Natal at the Wild Coast Sun Country Club on Wednesday.

He opened with a four-under-par 66 on the par-70 layout, with Justin Harding, his nearest challenger, following with a 67.
But while most of the field didn't exactly enjoy the Wild Coast wind, Groenewald used it to his advantage with his Golf Irons Sale. "When I went to bed before the first round I thought I had a great tee-off time at 7:10 and would get to the course and the weather would be perfect," he said.
"But when I got to the course and saw how the wind was blowing, I thought, 'Oh my goodness'. I just tried to keep the ball in play. From my first hole, the 10th, I hit the ball solid. I didn't get into trouble and putted well. I like the wind because I can ride it. I know where to hit it when it's blowing like this here. When there's wind you've got to hit the ball straight. HMRC Extends Use Of Debt Collectors

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 09, 2011 - Robson Laidler LLP, Accountants, are reporting that HM Revenue and Customs has appointed 10 debt collection agencies (DCAs) to recover £1 billion in debts.

It was announced in the June 2010 Emergency Budget that, following a successful pilot, HMRC would use private debt collection agencies operating under industry and HMRC standards to boost HMRC’s debt collection capacity and help the pursuit of lower value debts.

In 2010/11 HMRC said that DCAs would attempt to collect an extra £140 million in tax, with the proviso that it would only refer a case to an agency after writing to the debtor to provide a last chance to pay.

Before the case is transferred to a DCA the taxpayer is recommended to take this opportunity to agree repayment terms with HMRC, as these terms may be more beneficial than could otherwise be negotiated with a DCA.

Graham Purvis from Robson Laidler said “The pilot scheme employed 4 debt collection agencies and, together with a far tougher stance on liquidating companies and bankrupting individuals for non-payment of tax debts, proved to be such a success that HMRC decided to extend the number of debt collectors.”

“More than 40 debt collection companies tendered for the business, worth up to £70 million in fees.  The successful 10 agencies will enter a two-year arrangement with HMRC”.

It is understood that the DCAs will still be collecting relatively small and older outstanding liabilities, in line with the pilot scheme.

There have been concerns in some quarters, however, that the use of DCAs could lead to businesses going into liquidation, as the enforced collection of old and unbudgeted for debts might be ‘the straw that breaks the camel’s back’.

Some experts are also worried that some vulnerable people could be harassed over relatively small amounts.

The G15 also have a slightly thinner face design with more weight moved to the toe to help increase forgiveness and the lofts are stronger and the sole design slightly wider than on the G10 irons to help produce strong and high trajectory. The Ping G15 irons also have a full cavity graphics badge which helps to improve the feel of the club and promote a much softer feel.

American Chip Lutz went one better than last year’s runner-up finish to claim the Seniors Open Amateur Championship at Royal Portrush where he reeled-in playing partner Frank Ford III and held off the challenge of Arthur Pierse in a dramatic final round.  
Lutz signed for a second successive 71 for a three round winning aggregate of two-under 214. The 56-year-old’s total was good enough to win by one stroke from Irish international Pierse, who carded a 70 to come up just short. The 2007 champion gave the home crowds plenty to cheer about as he attempted to chase down the leading American pair on a benign afternoon on the Antrim coast with his Golf Clubs Sale.
“It’s just so emotional, I’m overwhelmed to have won,” said Lutz immediately after the presentation. “This is my first national championship and it feels great to have been able to finish it off after being runner-up to Paul at Walton Heath last year."
Despite Ford’s early woes he still had a long birdie putt from the front of the green at 18 to force a play-off. He raced it passed and went on to miss the eight-footer back which cost him a share of second. “What can I say it just didn’t happen, but that’s Ping G15 Iron; I’ve had a great week,” said Ford.  

For Pierse there was also a case of what might have been. The battling Tipperary golfer holed an outrageous par putt from just off the front of the green at 18 after finding the cross bunkers with his drive. It meant he at least asked the question and Lutz had to make par to win. For Pierse he said the slow start to the week cost him.
