Thus, if a player's distance-difference between each iron is 10 yards, he can be confident that his Rescue 4 will be 10 yards longer than his 5-iron, and that his Rescue 3 will be 10 yards longer than his Rescue 4.”

The specs are dead square face, 10.5 loft speed axis 55w S. This is a very easy club to turn over with 24 grams of weight toward the heel, but with a square face, the draw bias over hook traits aren’t there as they would be for me with closed faces. The draw is the shot of choice as with 24 grams of weight by the heel, this club is not designed for a fade. The thing is the draw is my normal shot, and I don’t have control problems at all with the Legacy. I just use the weight as leverage and swing a nice normal pass and a beautiful long high slight draw is the shot. I can see 2008 being a 3 way race between the EPON EMB, EPON AF101, and the Legacy. I should have an EPON AF101 next week.

The Golf Clubs Sale provide much of what we expect from a modern driver. As Callaway suggest it was certainly long, and this performance was generally maintained on off-centered hits. Although the deep head looks slightly ungainly, it sits comfortably at address and the sound at impact was a lot better than some of the recent Callaway drivers I have experienced. The driver produced a powerful, penetrating ball flight, although a concern was that I struggled to shape the ball, especially from right to left.”

It sounds so nice, especially the improvement in feel. When I touched the Golf Equipment Sale, I actually thought the ERC-Hyper was pretty solid, but if the Legacy is an improvement, I might have to try one after all!
